Leonora Di Mauro - President
Leonora Di Mauro loves sharing her native Italy. Born and raised in Milan, she finished her degree in Tourism Management and worked for some of the most important Italian tour operators and event management companies in the country. After spending several years in New York, she moved to Los Angeles and founded Italy in Style, specializing in villa rentals, travel design, and wedding planning.
Clients depend on Leonora’s creativity and sophisticated taste, together with her more than twenty-three years of expertise in the travel industry, to create experiences that exceed expectations. Her extensive history in Italy, superb attention to detail, and first-hand knowledge of the American market is a winning combination.
Using her background in orchestrating large gatherings, including specialty dinners, tailor-made treasure hunts, and team building activities, she can coordinate a family reunion for two hundred people in a few days without batting an eye.
Hailing from a family of cooks, bakers, and winemakers who passed their recipes on from generation to generation, Leonora treasures the art of great meals and lasting memories. Of Leonora’s grandmother, family folklore holds that she transformed flour into gold.
At home, Leonora spends time with her Italian husband and their exuberant young son. Believing strongly in the power of community, she co-founded an association in Los Angeles for Italian-speaking families.
Her passions of traveling, reading, photography, cooking, and yoga keep her on the move. She visits Italy for several months every year, inspecting properties and event venues, as well as testing new itineraries for clients. From festive to tranquil, luxurious to cozy, mountains to coast, Leonora knows how Italy captures your heart, and enjoys translating each person’s dream vacation into reality.
